Description
Description
Family Guy Presents: Blue Harvest on UMD Video for PSP delivers the Griffin family’s hilarious parody of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope in a portable movie format. This special episode reimagines the Star Wars universe through the lens of Family Guy’s signature humor, with familiar characters stepping into iconic roles from the original film. The result is a loving spoof packed with jokes, references, and absurd twists that fans of both franchises can appreciate.
The story follows the basic structure of A New Hope, with Peter Griffin as Han Solo, Chris as Luke Skywalker, Lois as Princess Leia, and Stewie as Darth Vader. The episode stays close enough to the source material to be instantly recognizable, while constantly undercutting dramatic moments with cutaway gags, pop culture jokes, and self-aware commentary. Brian’s portrayal of Chewbacca adds to the comedy, balancing slapstick humor with clever dialogue.
Blue Harvest was created as a special standalone presentation rather than a standard episode, allowing for a longer runtime and more elaborate storytelling. It’s often regarded as one of Family Guy’s most popular specials, praised for its mix of satire, fandom, and faithful recreation of Star Wars moments.
The UMD format makes it easy to enjoy this animated parody on the go, making Family Guy Presents: Blue Harvest a great addition for PSP owners, Family Guy fans, and collectors of portable video releases from the PSP era.
