The story shifts between Marlin’s perilous trek across the ocean and Nemo’s attempts to escape a dentist’s office aquarium in Sydney. You’ll navigate iconic environments like the Great Barrier Reef, a shark-infested submarine, and a jellyfish-filled trench.
Gameplay consists of side-scrolling exploration and environmental puzzles—such as blocking currents with rocks or gifting pearls to oysters to open paths. Some stages feature "chase" sequences, requiring you to swim through bubble rings to keep pace with Dory or outrun Bruce the shark. Between levels, you can play memory-matching minigames to unlock movie stills in a persistent gallery.
