Gears of War 2 for Xbox 360 is a third-person shooter that continues the story of Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad as they battle the Locust Horde in a large-scale war for humanity’s survival. The campaign expands the scope of the conflict, taking players through a variety of environments both above and below ground.
The gameplay focuses on cover-based combat, featuring weapons like the Lancer assault rifle and Gnasher shotgun, along with intense firefights against enemy forces. Players can engage in solo play or cooperative campaign, as well as competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes including Horde mode, where teams defend against waves of enemies.
