God of War is an action-adventure game for the PlayStation 2 that reimagines Greek mythology through a dark, cinematic lens. Developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, the game follows Kratos, a Spartan warrior bound to the gods, as he seeks redemption and revenge against Ares, the god of war.
