Golden Axe: Beast Rider - Xbox 360
Description
Description
Golden Axe: Beast Rider - Xbox 360 is a fantasy action game that reimagines Sega’s classic Golden Axe series with a darker, more combat-focused adventure. Players take control of Tyris Flare, an Amazon warrior who sets out to stop the forces of Death Adder after her people are attacked and her homeland is thrown into chaos.
Gameplay combines hack-and-slash combat, exploration, and mounted battles using powerful creatures known as beasts. Tyris can attack with her sword, dodge and counter enemy strikes, use magical abilities, and execute finishing moves against groups of enemies. Several rideable beasts provide different offensive abilities and can be used to charge through opponents, cross dangerous terrain, and take on larger threats throughout the campaign.
Developed by Secret Level and published by Sega in 2008, Golden Axe: Beast Rider takes the long-running series into a fully 3D action-adventure format while retaining familiar characters, creatures, and fantasy themes. Its melee-focused combat, rideable beasts, large environments, and darker interpretation of the Golden Axe world make it an appealing choice for action-game fans and Xbox 360 collectors.
