Home Alone for Super Nintendo is a fun, family-friendly action game inspired by the classic holiday film. When Kevin McCallister is accidentally left behind, it’s up to him to protect the house from the Wet Bandits using traps, quick thinking, and a lot of creativity. Instead of direct combat, the game focuses on setting up defenses and avoiding capture as you move through the house collecting valuables and preparing for the burglars’ arrival.
Gameplay involves exploring different rooms, gathering items, and placing traps that can slow down or knock out intruders. You’ll use everything from paint cans to toy cars and other classic household hazards to keep Harry and Marv from reaching you. As the game progresses, the action ramps up with more enemies, tougher scenarios, and additional locations beyond the house, keeping the challenge moving and giving the game a surprisingly wide scope for its era.
