Kid Chameleon - SEGA Genesis
Description
Description
Kid Chameleon - SEGA Genesis is a side-scrolling platformer set inside a dangerous virtual reality game where players take control of Casey, a skilled gamer who enters the system to rescue people trapped by its rogue artificial intelligence. The adventure spans a large number of stages filled with enemies, hazards, hidden routes, and secrets.
Gameplay centers on collecting special masks that transform Casey into different characters, each with unique abilities. These forms include powers such as enhanced jumping, wall climbing, heavy armor, ranged attacks, and other movement or combat advantages that help players reach new areas and overcome specific obstacles. The game is known for its large stage count, branching paths, hidden levels, and challenging platforming.
Developed and published by Sega in 1992, Kid Chameleon became one of the more distinctive platformers in the Genesis library. Its transformation system, extensive level design, multiple routes, and demanding difficulty make it an appealing choice for fans of classic Sega platformers and collectors building a SEGA Genesis library.
