NFL Street 2 - PlayStation 2 is an arcade-style football game that takes NFL stars away from traditional stadiums and onto urban fields built for fast, physical competition. Featuring licensed NFL players and teams, the game emphasizes flashy moves, big hits, trick plays, and exaggerated athleticism instead of the simulation-focused approach of traditional football games.
Gameplay centers on seven-on-seven football with fewer rules and a strong focus on style. Players can perform jukes, wall moves, catches, pitches, and other tricks to build Gamebreaker meters and create momentum-changing plays. The game includes several single-player and multiplayer modes, along with Own the City, where players create and develop a custom athlete while building a team and competing through progressively tougher street football challenges.
Developed by EA Tiburon and published under the EA Sports BIG label in 2004, NFL Street 2 expanded on the original with new movement mechanics, additional game types, and deeper player progression.
