NHL '94 - Super Nintendo
Description
Description
NHL '94 - Super Nintendo brings fast-paced professional hockey to the Super Nintendo with teams and players from the early 1990s NHL. Players can take control of recognizable clubs and stars while competing on the ice through checking, passing, slap shots, breakaways, and quick offensive plays presented from the series’ distinctive overhead perspective.
Gameplay is designed to be accessible while still rewarding positioning and teamwork. NHL '94 introduced the one-timer to the series, allowing players to pass directly to a teammate for an immediate shot on goal and creating a new way to set up scoring opportunities. Players can also perform manual goalie control, make line changes, deliver body checks, and compete against the computer or other players in local multiplayer matches.
Developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts in 1993, NHL '94 became one of the most celebrated hockey video games of the 16-bit era and an influential entry in EA’s long-running NHL series. Its responsive controls, memorable presentation, and enduring multiplayer appeal make it an excellent choice for hockey fans, retro sports enthusiasts, and collectors building a Super Nintendo library.
