Based on the classic sci-fi franchise, Planet of the Apes for the Game Boy Color is a side-scrolling action-platformer. You'll play as Ulysses, a human astronaut who has crash-landed on a mysterious planet ruled by intelligent apes. You'll need to use your wits and your agility to survive in this dangerous new world. The gameplay is a mix of classic platforming, puzzle-solving, and combat. You'll need to use a variety of different weapons and gadgets to battle a variety of different ape soldiers and other dangerous creatures.
