As a young Pokémon Trainer, you’ll travel across multiple islands, catch and train Pokémon, and complete the island challenge while working toward becoming the region’s champion.
Along the journey, players encounter the mysterious Ultra Recon Squad and uncover new story elements involving Ultra Beasts and strange dimensions beyond the Alola region. These additions expand the original storyline while introducing new encounters and challenges.
Players can explore towns, beaches, forests, and volcanic landscapes while building their team and battling powerful Trial Captains and Totem Pokémon.
