Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - Wii
Description
Description
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - Wii is an action-adventure game featuring an original storyline created specifically for Nintendo’s console. Set within the Sands of Time era, the adventure follows the Prince and a mysterious genie named Zahra as they journey through the ruined kingdom of Izdihar, uncovering ancient secrets and confronting a supernatural corruption known as the Haoma.
Gameplay combines acrobatic platforming, environmental puzzles, sword combat, and motion-controlled actions using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. The Prince can run along walls, climb structures, leap between platforms, and battle enemies while gaining magical powers that expand his movement abilities. These powers allow players to create temporary handholds, summon sand pillars, and manipulate the environment to reach new areas and solve increasingly complex traversal challenges.
Developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft in 2010, the Wii version of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is significantly different from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases, featuring its own story, environments, and gameplay design. Its platform-specific adventure and strong emphasis on acrobatic exploration make it an appealing choice for Prince of Persia fans and collectors building a Nintendo Wii library.
