Resident Evil - Code: Veronica X - Nintendo GameCube is a survival horror game that continues the story of Claire Redfield following the events of Resident Evil 2. Her search for her brother Chris leads to imprisonment on Rockfort Island, where a viral outbreak has transformed the facility into a dangerous maze filled with zombies, mutated creatures, and secrets tied to the Umbrella Corporation.
Gameplay combines exploration, puzzle solving, resource management, and combat across interconnected environments. Players primarily control Claire before the story expands to include Chris Redfield, with both characters facing new enemies and uncovering more about the Ashford family and Albert Wesker. The game features a mix of firearms, healing items, key-based progression, environmental puzzles, and large boss encounters throughout the adventure.
