Description
The Rocketeer for the Nintendo Entertainment System is an action game based on the 1991 Disney film inspired by Dave Stevens' acclaimed comic book. Set in the late 1930s, you play as stunt pilot Cliff Secord, who discovers a powerful experimental rocket pack and becomes the heroic Rocketeer. With enemy spies, gangsters, and a mysterious criminal mastermind in pursuit, Cliff must use his newfound abilities to protect the rocket's secrets and rescue his kidnapped girlfriend, Jenny.
Take on a variety of gameplay styles as you fly through side-scrolling aerial stages, engage in hand-to-hand combat, and navigate platforming challenges inspired by key moments from the film. Use the Rocketeer's jet pack to soar through dangerous environments, avoid enemy attacks, and battle heavily armed foes while managing your fuel and mastering precise flight controls.
