Description
Description
Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA - Nintendo 64 is an arcade-style racing game that sends players across exaggerated city courses inspired by locations throughout the United States. Building on the original San Francisco Rush, the game features high-speed races filled with jumps, shortcuts, traffic hazards, steep drops, and hidden routes designed to reward aggressive driving and exploration.
Gameplay includes traditional circuit racing along with the popular Stunt mode, where players can launch vehicles off ramps, perform flips and spins, and earn points for difficult tricks and landings. A variety of cars can be unlocked and customized, while hidden keys and other secrets encourage players to revisit tracks and search for alternate paths. Local multiplayer adds head-to-head racing and stunt competition for additional replay value.
Developed by Atari Games and published by Midway Games in 1998, Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA expanded the Rush formula beyond San Francisco with more tracks, vehicles, and stunt-focused gameplay. Its arcade handling, large jumps, hidden shortcuts, and dedicated stunt mode make it an appealing choice for retro racing fans and collectors building a Nintendo 64 library.
