Built to pair with the SEGA Genesis Model 1, this unit sits beneath the console and features a motorized top-loading disc tray, giving it a distinctive and premium design.

This SEGA CD attachment supports a wide library of CD-based titles, including Sonic CD, Lunar: The Silver Star, Snatcher, and Night Trap. In addition to gameplay enhancements, it includes built-in memory for game saves and functions as an audio CD player, adding multimedia functionality to the Genesis setup.

Refurbished for reliability: Cleaned inside and out with attention to the disc drive/laser, power/reset switches, fan, and AV/multi-out ports. The original laser is replaced if it doesn't play any SEGA CD games.  Components like capacitors, laser, fan, and other components are replaced as needed.

• Good Condition: Console is fully functional and in overall good cosmetic condition. It may show light signs of wear such as minor scuffs, small scratches, or slight discoloration from normal use, but nothing that significantly impacts its appearance.
• Acceptable Condition: Console is fully functional but shows noticeable cosmetic wear. This may include dents, cracks, scratches, stickers or residue, marker/ink, or heavier discoloration. These flaws are cosmetic only and do not affect performance.
