Shepherd's Crossing - PlayStation 2
Description
Description
Shepherd's Crossing - PlayStation 2 is a farming simulation game that places players in charge of a rural homestead where crops, livestock, and long-term planning determine success. Rather than following a strict schedule, the game encourages players to develop their farm at their own pace while learning how different animals, plants, and resources work together.
Gameplay focuses on raising animals, growing crops, managing food supplies, and expanding the farm through a barter-based economy instead of traditional money. Players trade livestock and farm goods for new animals, seeds, tools, and other resources, creating a cycle of production that changes with the seasons. Hunting and animal breeding add additional ways to develop the farm and obtain useful materials.
Developed by Success and released for PlayStation 2 in North America by Valcon Games, Shepherd's Crossing offers a more systems-focused approach to farming than many other life simulation games. Its emphasis on resource management, seasonal planning, livestock breeding, and trading gives it a distinctive identity among PlayStation 2 farming titles.
