Shin Megami Tensei IV - Nintendo 3DS
Description
Description
Shin Megami Tensei IV - Nintendo 3DS is a dark role-playing game that follows Flynn, a newly chosen Samurai from the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado. After receiving a Gauntlet that grants access to demon-summoning technology, Flynn and his fellow Samurai are drawn into a conflict that leads far beyond their isolated homeland and into a ruined Tokyo filled with demons, rival factions, and competing visions for humanity’s future.
Gameplay centers on turn-based combat using the Press Turn system, which rewards players for exploiting enemy weaknesses and landing critical hits. Players can negotiate with demons to recruit them, fuse demons into stronger allies, and customize Flynn with a wide range of skills and equipment. Exploration includes quests, branching choices, challenging boss battles, and alignment-based decisions that can steer the story toward different outcomes.
Developed and published by Atlus, Shin Megami Tensei IV was released for Nintendo 3DS in North America in 2013. Its demanding combat, deep demon fusion, morally complex choices, atmospheric world, and multiple story paths make it a standout entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series and an appealing choice for JRPG fans and Nintendo 3DS collectors.
