SingStar: Dance - PlayStation 3 expands Sony’s karaoke series by combining singing with motion-controlled dance routines. Players perform along with licensed music videos and on-screen lyrics while using compatible microphones for vocals and PlayStation Move motion controllers for choreographed dance gameplay, creating a party-focused experience built around both music and movement.
Gameplay supports solo performances, duets, and local multiplayer sessions, with players earning scores based on vocal pitch, timing, and dance accuracy. The soundtrack features a mix of pop, rock, and dance-oriented songs, while different modes allow groups to compete or perform together. Compatible SingStar microphones are required for singing, and PlayStation Move controllers are needed to use the dance features.
Developed by London Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2010, SingStar: Dance brought PlayStation Move support to the long-running SingStar series.
