Sonic and the Black Knight for the Nintendo Wii transports Sonic the Hedgehog into the legendary world of King Arthur, where medieval castles, enchanted forests, and mythical knights replace his usual high-speed landscapes. Summoned by the wizard Merlina, Sonic must wield the sacred sword Caliburn and confront the corrupted King Arthur to restore peace to the kingdom.
Race through action-packed stages while combining Sonic's trademark speed with dynamic sword-based combat. Slash through enemies, perform acrobatic attacks, and unlock new abilities as you progress through an original story inspired by Arthurian legend. The Wii Remote is used to swing Sonic's sword, creating an interactive combat system that blends fast platforming with hack-and-slash action. Multiplayer party modes and missions add even more variety beyond the main adventure.
Developed by Sonic Team and published by SEGA in 2009, Sonic and the Black Knight is the second entry in the Storybook Series, following Sonic and the Secret Rings.
