Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity - Wii is a futuristic racing game that sends Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and other characters from the Sonic series onto high-speed tracks built around hoverboards and gravity-based mechanics. The story follows the heroes as they investigate mysterious artifacts linked to strange gravitational disturbances, leading to races across cities, factories, ruins, and other fast-moving environments.
Gameplay centers on Extreme Gear racing, with players using air-powered boards and other vehicles to drift, jump, grind rails, and take advantage of track-specific shortcuts. The Zero Gravity system lets racers manipulate gravity to perform sharp turns, launch through sections of a course, and gain speed in ways that distinguish the game from earlier Sonic racing titles. Multiple race types, unlockable gear, and local multiplayer add variety beyond the main story.
