SSX Tricky - Game Boy Advance brings EA Sports BIG’s over-the-top snowboarding series to Nintendo’s handheld with fast downhill racing and trick-focused competition. Players choose from a roster of colorful riders and race across snow-covered courses filled with sharp turns, ramps, shortcuts, and opportunities to catch massive air while competing for the best times and scores.
Gameplay combines racing with freestyle snowboarding, allowing players to perform spins, grabs, flips, and powerful Uber Tricks while building up their score. Modes include World Circuit, Showoff, and Free Ride, giving players opportunities to compete for position, focus on trick performance, or practice individual courses. The handheld version adapts the core SSX experience to the Game Boy Advance with its own visual presentation and controls.
Developed by Visual Impact and published under the EA Sports BIG label in 2002, SSX Tricky was the first game in the series released for a handheld system.
