If a pre-owned game, console, or accessory fails during normal use within 90 days of delivery (or in-store purchase), we’ll help resolve the issue with an exchange for the same item or store credit. Stack-Up - NES is a puzzle game designed for use with Nintendo’s R.O.B. robotic accessory. Players arrange colored blocks and issue commands that direct R.O.B. to move and stack pieces in different configurations, turning the game into a physical puzzle experience that combines on-screen instructions with real-world interaction.
Gameplay includes multiple modes built around matching or recreating block patterns. Players use the NES controller to enter commands, while R.O.B. responds by rotating and moving its arms to manipulate the included plastic blocks and trays. Success depends on planning moves carefully and coordinating the game’s instructions with the physical setup. A compatible R.O.B. unit and the original Stack-Up accessories are required for the intended gameplay experience.
Developed and published by Nintendo in 1985, Stack-Up was one of only two NES games created specifically for R.O.B., alongside Gyromite. Its unusual blend of video game and physical accessory interaction, limited software library, and close connection to Nintendo’s early NES marketing make it an especially distinctive title for NES and R.O.B. collectors.
