Street Fighter X Tekken - PlayStation Vita is a crossover fighting game that brings together characters from Capcom’s Street Fighter series and Bandai Namco’s Tekken franchise. Fighters such as Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken, Kazuya, Jin, and Nina compete in tag-team battles built around a mysterious object called Pandora, combining two major fighting game universes in a single roster.
Gameplay uses a two-on-two tag system, allowing players to switch between partners during fights and build combos that incorporate both characters. The game includes familiar special moves, Super Arts, Cross Assaults, and the Gem system for modifying character abilities. The PlayStation Vita version features an expanded roster of 55 playable fighters, including 12 characters that were released separately as downloadable additions for the original console versions, along with touch-screen features and portable play.
Developed and published by Capcom in 2012, Street Fighter X Tekken brought its crossover fighting system to PlayStation Vita several months after the home-console release.
