Stuntman - PlayStation 2
Description
Description
Stuntman - PlayStation 2 is a driving action game that puts players in the role of a professional stunt driver working on fictional movie productions. Instead of traditional racing, players perform carefully choreographed driving sequences involving jumps, crashes, precision turns, high-speed chases, and other dangerous maneuvers across a variety of cinematic sets.
Gameplay revolves around following a director’s instructions while completing each stunt within strict timing and positioning requirements. Players may need to hit ramps, sideswipe vehicles, drive through explosions, perform handbrake turns, or reach specific marks without missing cues. Successfully completing scenes unlocks additional movie sequences, vehicles, and challenges, while the game’s replay features let players watch completed stunts edited into cinematic action scenes.
Developed by Reflections Interactive and published by Infogrames in 2002, Stuntman offered a distinctive take on driving games by focusing on movie stunt work rather than conventional competition. Its demanding mission structure, cinematic presentation, varied vehicles, and precision-based driving make it an appealing choice for action racing fans and collectors building a PlayStation 2 library.
