Description

Super Chase H.Q. - Super Nintendo is an arcade-style driving action game that puts players behind the wheel of a high-speed police vehicle in pursuit of dangerous criminals. Each mission challenges players to race through traffic, locate a target vehicle, and stop it before time runs out, combining fast driving with vehicle-based combat.

Gameplay is presented from a behind-the-car perspective as players weave between civilian vehicles, take sharp turns, and use bursts of speed to close the distance on fleeing suspects. Once the target is reached, players must repeatedly ram the criminal vehicle to deplete its durability while continuing to avoid obstacles and maintain enough speed to complete the chase within the time limit. Different stages introduce new environments, traffic patterns, and increasingly difficult pursuits.

Published by Taito and released for the Super Nintendo in 1993, Super Chase H.Q. adapts the high-speed pursuit concept of Taito’s Chase H.Q. series for 16-bit hardware. Its combination of racing, timed objectives, aggressive vehicle combat, and arcade-style presentation makes it an appealing choice for retro racing fans and Super Nintendo collectors.
