Developed by Helixe and published by THQ, this version of Tak 2 offers original levels, stylized visuals, and puzzle-solving elements tailored specifically for the GBA, rather than being a direct port of the 3D console release.
You once again play as Tak, the unlikely shaman’s apprentice, who is thrust into a surreal dream world where he must harness his magic and platforming skills to awaken ancient powers and stop a looming threat. Set between the waking and dream realms, the game features diverse environments—jungle ruins, eerie temples, and dreamlike dimensions—each filled with enemies, traps, and platforming challenges that test your reflexes and timing.
Tak’s abilities evolve throughout the game. You'll use spirit animals to solve puzzles, cast magic to defeat foes, and transform into different creatures to access new areas.
