Yakuza 3 - PlayStation 3
Description
Description
Yakuza 3 - PlayStation 3 is an action-adventure game that continues the story of Kazuma Kiryu after he leaves his former life behind to run an orphanage in Okinawa. When threats against the orphanage pull him back into conflict, Kiryu becomes involved in a larger conspiracy connecting organized crime, political interests, and powerful figures in both Okinawa and Tokyo.
Gameplay combines real-time street fighting, exploration, story missions, and a wide range of optional activities. Players can battle groups of enemies using punches, kicks, throws, weapons, and Heat Actions, while also exploring areas such as Ryukyu and Kamurocho. Between major story events, Kiryu can take on substories, visit restaurants and shops, play mini-games, and interact with characters throughout the city.
Developed and published by Sega, Yakuza 3 was released for PlayStation 3 in North America in 2010. The game expands the series with a new Okinawa setting while continuing Kiryu’s story and the franchise’s mix of crime drama, character-driven storytelling, and extensive side content. Its memorable cast, varied combat, detailed environments, and large selection of activities make it an appealing choice for Yakuza fans and PlayStation 3 collectors.
