Description
All Star Racing 2 - PlayStation is an arcade-style racing game that gives players several different types of vehicles to master across a variety of international courses. The game features trucks, karts, motorcycles, and Grand Prix-style cars, creating noticeably different racing experiences depending on the vehicle category selected.
Gameplay focuses on straightforward track racing, with each vehicle type offering its own handling characteristics and approach to cornering and speed. Players can compete across 20 geographically themed tracks located around the world, with multiple viewpoints and difficulty settings available. Switching between nimble karts, heavier trucks, motorcycles, and high-speed GP cars adds variety and encourages players to adjust their driving style for each class.
Developed by Kung Fu Games and published in North America by Mud Duck Productions in 2003, All Star Racing 2 was released late in the original PlayStation’s lifespan as a sequel to All Star Racing.
