Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer - Nintendo 3DS is a creative simulation game focused on interior and exterior design within the Animal Crossing world. Players join Nook's Homes as a designer and work with familiar animal residents to create personalized homes based on their requests, preferred themes, and favorite furniture.
Gameplay centers on arranging furniture, choosing wallpaper and flooring, decorating yards, and placing items to build customized living spaces. As players progress, they also gain opportunities to design public facilities such as schools, shops, restaurants, and hospitals. The game supports Animal Crossing amiibo cards, which can be used to invite specific characters for design projects or visits. New Nintendo 3DS systems can read amiibo cards directly, while original Nintendo 3DS and 2DS models require the separate NFC Reader/Writer accessory.
