Battlefield 3 - Limited Edition - PlayStation 3
Description
Description
Battlefield 3 - Limited Edition - PlayStation 3 is a modern military first-person shooter that combines a cinematic single-player campaign with large-scale Battlefield combat. The story follows several characters across missions involving the U.S. Marines, intelligence operations, armored warfare, and an escalating international crisis, with battles taking place across urban environments, deserts, and other global locations.
Gameplay features infantry combat, vehicles, destructible environments, and a class-based loadout system built around Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon roles. The campaign includes gunfights, vehicle sequences, and large scripted battles, while the game originally offered extensive online multiplayer with tanks, helicopters, jets, and objective-based modes. Online services for the PlayStation 3 version have since been discontinued. The Limited Edition originally included access to the Back to Karkand expansion through a downloadable code, adding remastered maps and additional multiplayer content.
Developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts in 2011, Battlefield 3 introduced the Frostbite 2 engine and became one of the defining military shooters of its console generation. Its cinematic campaign, vehicle combat, destructible environments, and large-scale multiplayer design make it a notable release for Battlefield fans and PlayStation 3 collectors.
