Dr. Mario 64 - Nintendo 64 is a puzzle game that brings Nintendo’s virus-clearing formula to the Nintendo 64 with expanded modes, colorful presentation, and multiplayer support. Players control Dr. Mario as he drops two-color vitamin capsules into a bottle, matching them with red, blue, and yellow viruses to clear the board before the playfield fills.
Gameplay centers on arranging capsules to create horizontal or vertical groups of four matching colors. The game includes traditional single-player challenges along with story-based content and several multiplayer modes for competitive matches. Up to four players can compete locally, making the Nintendo 64 version especially well suited for group play. Different speed and difficulty settings provide additional challenge for both new and experienced puzzle players.
