Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis - PlayStation 2 puts players in charge of building and managing their own Jurassic Park. Starting with undeveloped land and limited resources, players construct dinosaur enclosures, visitor facilities, research centers, and attractions while working to create a successful park filled with prehistoric creatures.
Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis combines simulation and management gameplay with dinosaur creation and park design. Players can extract DNA from fossils, breed different dinosaur species, manage staff and finances, and keep guests safe and entertained. Carnivores and herbivores each have their own needs and behaviors, making enclosure design and park security an important part of keeping operations under control.
Beyond the main park-building mode, the game includes missions and scenarios that place players in more direct situations, including photographing dinosaurs, rescuing visitors, and dealing with escaped creatures. With recognizable dinosaurs, music, and imagery inspired by the Jurassic Park films, Operation Genesis offers a detailed blend of theme park management and dinosaur simulation on PlayStation 2.
