Description
Description
Step onto the felt and face off against the most infamous dealer in early gaming history. Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack for the Intellivision is the definitive "casino in a cartridge" that defined the platform's early success. Originally included as the pack-in game for the Master Component, this title is a mandatory essential for Intellivision collectors and retro enthusiasts who want to experience the shifty-eyed dealer and high-stakes strategy on original 1980s hardware.
Ditch the simple card games and master the calculated risk of a realistic 52-card deck. Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack is a masterclass in early AI personality, featuring a dealer who bluffs, raises, and reacts to your performance with smiles or scowls. The gameplay is a visceral loop of strategy and gambling, offering four distinct modes: Blackjack, 5-Card Stud, 5-Card Draw, and 7-Card Stud Poker. This version is highly regarded for its advanced betting system, allowing players to choose their starting bankroll and challenge the house or a second player in head-to-head competition. The Intellivision version leverages the system's unique controller, utilizing dedicated overlays that slide over the 12-button keypad to make complex betting and card-switching actions intuitive. Whether you’re doubling down on a hot streak or trying to bluff the computer out of a massive pot, this title delivers a vibrant and surprisingly tense casino experience. The house always wins—unless you have the skills to break the bank—this title delivers the ultimate cardroom showdown on your original Intellivision hardware.
