Description
Description
Loaded (Greatest Hits) for PlayStation is the re-release of Interplay’s cult-classic top-down shooter, recognized under Sony’s budget-friendly Greatest Hits line. Known for its over-the-top violence, twisted humor, and anarchic design, Loaded delivers an unrelenting action experience that stood out in the early PlayStation library.
Players choose from a roster of six bizarre antiheroes, each armed with unique weapons and personality quirks, ranging from mad clowns to deranged outlaws. The goal is simple but satisfying—blast your way through wave after wave of enemies across sprawling levels packed with traps, secrets, and destructible environments. The top-down perspective, combined with twin-stick style shooting mechanics, keeps the pace frantic while giving players freedom to unleash chaos in every direction.
The game’s presentation is as memorable as its gameplay, featuring a heavy dose of gore, dark comic-style visuals, and a pumping soundtrack that perfectly fits the tone. Cooperative multiplayer makes the experience even better, allowing two players to team up and double the destruction. Levels grow increasingly challenging, rewarding quick reflexes, strategic use of each character’s strengths, and a love for sheer mayhem.
As part of the Greatest Hits line, this edition of Loaded highlights the game’s popularity during its time and gives collectors a chance to own an iconic piece of ’90s PlayStation history. Whether you’re reliving its chaotic fun or discovering it for the first time, Loaded (Greatest Hits) stands as a reminder of the edgy, experimental spirit of early PlayStation gaming.
