Mario Party 3 - Nintendo 64 continues Nintendo’s multiplayer party series with Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, Donkey Kong, and additional characters competing across colorful game boards. Players roll dice, collect coins, purchase Stars, and encounter unpredictable events while trying to finish each match with the highest Star total.
Gameplay combines turn-based board movement with more than 70 minigames built around timing, reflexes, memory, coordination, and luck. Alongside the traditional four-player board game format, Mario Party 3 introduces Duel Mode, where two players compete on smaller maps using partner characters to attack opponents and protect themselves. The game also includes item systems, unique board mechanics, and local multiplayer support for up to four players.
Developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo in 2000 in Japan and 2001 in North America, Mario Party 3 was the third and final Mario Party title released for the Nintendo 64. Its large minigame selection, expanded modes, and competitive multiplayer design make it an appealing choice for Mario fans, party game enthusiasts, and collectors building a Nintendo 64 library.
