Rampage 2: Universal Tour - Nintendo 64 is an arcade-style action game that expands the city-smashing chaos of the Rampage series into a worldwide adventure. Players control giant monsters as they travel across cities and landmarks, destroying buildings, battling military forces, and causing as much destruction as possible while progressing from one location to the next.
Gameplay revolves around climbing buildings, smashing structures, eating people and objects, fighting enemies, and surviving attacks from tanks, helicopters, soldiers, and other hazards. Multiple playable monsters offer different appearances and abilities, while stages take place across a variety of international locations. The Nintendo 64 version also supports local multiplayer, allowing players to team up or compete while tearing through cities together.
Developed by Avalanche Software and published by Midway Games in 1999, Rampage 2: Universal Tour followed the console success of Rampage World Tour with new monsters, locations, and destructive challenges. Its simple arcade action, large-scale destruction, and multiplayer gameplay make it an appealing choice for Rampage fans, retro action enthusiasts, and collectors building a Nintendo 64 library.
