Spider-Man: Edge of Time - Xbox 360
Description
Description
Spider-Man: Edge of Time - Xbox 360 is an action-adventure game that brings together two versions of Spider-Man from different eras. Players alternate between Peter Parker’s Amazing Spider-Man and Miguel O’Hara’s Spider-Man 2099 as they work across time to prevent a catastrophic future created by scientist Walker Sloan and the powerful Alchemax corporation.
Gameplay combines fast-paced combat, web-swinging, wall-crawling, platforming, and character-specific abilities. Amazing Spider-Man uses agility and a Spider-Sense-inspired hyper-sense ability to evade danger, while Spider-Man 2099 relies on accelerated decoys and futuristic techniques. Events in one timeline can alter situations in the other, creating story moments where actions performed by one Spider-Man directly affect the challenges faced by the other.
Developed by Beenox and published by Activision in 2011, Spider-Man: Edge of Time followed the studio’s earlier Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions with a more focused time-travel story. Its dual Spider-Man protagonists, cinematic presentation, distinctive 2099 setting, and superhero combat make it an appealing choice for Spider-Man fans and Xbox 360 collectors.
