Description
Description
Splatterhouse for PlayStation 3 is a brutal action hack-and-slash game that reimagines the cult-classic arcade series for a new generation. Players take on the role of Rick Taylor, an ordinary college student who is transformed into a supernatural powerhouse after donning the mysterious Terror Mask in a desperate attempt to save his girlfriend, Jennifer, from monstrous horrors lurking within the cursed West Mansion.
Armed with immense strength and fueled by the Terror Mask's dark powers, Rick tears through grotesque creatures using devastating melee attacks, brutal combos, and improvised weapons found throughout the environment. As Rick grows stronger, players unlock new abilities and devastating finishing moves while uncovering the sinister secrets behind the mansion and the mask's terrifying origins.
Developed by BottleRocket Entertainment and completed by Namco Bandai Studios, Splatterhouse combines fast-paced combat, over-the-top gore, and classic horror influences into an action-packed adventure. The game also includes the original arcade versions of Splatterhouse, Splatterhouse 2, and Splatterhouse 3, making it an especially appealing release for longtime fans and collectors.
Whether you're expanding your PlayStation 3 collection, revisiting a legendary horror franchise, or looking for a visceral action game packed with monsters and classic arcade bonuses, Splatterhouse delivers a bloody and unforgettable experience.
