Street Fighter: Anniversary Collection - PlayStation 2
Description
Description
Street Fighter: Anniversary Collection - PlayStation 2 brings together two major entries from Capcom’s fighting game history: Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. The collection spans different eras of the series, offering classic Street Fighter II combat alongside the faster, more technical gameplay of the third Street Fighter generation.
Hyper Street Fighter II allows players to select different versions of fighters drawn from five arcade iterations of Street Fighter II, creating unusual matchups between characters with abilities and balance changes from different releases. Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike features a distinct roster, Super Arts, and its signature parry system, which rewards precisely timed defensive inputs. Both games include arcade-style competition and local head-to-head multiplayer.
Developed and published by Capcom in 2004, Street Fighter: Anniversary Collection was released to celebrate the franchise’s history while preserving two influential arcade fighting experiences on PlayStation 2. Its combination of classic characters, multiple fighting systems, competitive multiplayer, and two complete titles makes it an appealing choice for Street Fighter fans and PlayStation 2 collectors.
