Description
The Man of Steel comes to the Nintendo 64 in Superman: The New Superman Adventures. Based on the popular animated series, this game puts you in the role of the legendary superhero and tasks you with saving Metropolis from the evil schemes of Lex Luthor. The game is set in a virtual recreation of Metropolis, where Lex Luthor has trapped Superman's friends in a virtual maze. As Superman, you'll need to fly through a series of "ring" based flight challenges to progress through the game. Once you complete a flight challenge, you'll enter a mission where you must use your super-powers, including heat vision, super-strength, and super-breath, to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. You'll face off against a variety of classic Superman villains, including Brainiac, Darkseid, and Bizarro. With its faithful recreation of the animated series' art style and a story that feels like a lost episode, this game is a must-have for any fan of the last son of Krypton.
