WipEout 64 - Nintendo 64 is a futuristic anti-gravity racing game that sends players speeding through twisting tracks in high-performance hovercraft. Set in the WipEout universe, the game combines high-speed racing with a distinctive electronic soundtrack, sci-fi presentation, and weapon-based competition where maintaining control at extreme speeds is just as important as finding the fastest racing line.
Gameplay features multiple racing teams and craft with different handling characteristics, along with weapons and defensive items that can be collected during races. Players can use missiles, mines, shields, and other pickups to disrupt opponents while navigating sharp turns, jumps, and narrow track sections. The Nintendo 64 version includes championship-style progression, time-based challenges, and local multiplayer for competitive racing with friends.
