Now, players can experience this conflict firsthand as Demon King Ganondorf invades Ancient Hyrule and its heroes rise to resist his forces.
Step into the role of Princess Zelda, King Rauru, and other legendary figures as they battle alongside Mineru, the Sages, and all-new heroes. Each warrior brings unique abilities and powerful Zonai Devices to the battlefield, combining strategy and spectacle in massive encounters against hordes of enemies and towering bosses. The game builds on the hack-and-slash action of the Hyrule Warriors series, blending fast-paced combat with the rich lore of the Zelda universe.
For the first time in the series, two-player local co-op is supported via both split-screen and GameShare. Cover more ground with a partner, or team up to unleash devastating combos and turn the tide of battle. Additional features include amiibo support—tap any Zelda series amiibo to receive crafting materials and helpful items—as well as save data bonuses. Players with Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity save data receive the High Guard’s Claymore, while those with Tears of the Kingdom save data unlock the High Guard’s Sword.
