Set on the floating continent of Lemuria, players create a custom guild of explorers and chart their path through a wide range of dungeons, each filled with challenging enemies, complex layouts, and powerful FOEs. Returning classes from past titles—including fan favorites like Highlander, Gunner, and Sovereign—join new additions like Hero, giving players nearly endless options for team-building and tactical synergy.
As with all Etrian Odyssey games, the DS stylus is used to draw your own detailed maps as you explore each labyrinth. Mark hazards, hidden passages, and treasures as you carve your way deeper into the world’s mysteries. The first-person battles require thoughtful planning and coordination to survive, especially against the series’ signature tough-as-nails bosses.
