Description
In Pokémon Rumble Blast, the toy-themed brawler series makes its 3D debut, moving from WiiWare to a full-scale handheld adventure. Set in the imaginative world of Toyland, you control toy Pokémon that are brought to life with "Wonder Keys". The story follows your quest to find the disappearing Glowdrops—mystical healing water stolen by the villainous Cobalion—across various towns and elemental fields.
The gameplay is a fast-paced "beat 'em up" where you battle waves of toy monsters in real-time. Instead of catching Pokémon, you "befriend" them; when you defeat an enemy, there is a chance it will tip over, allowing you to pick it up and add its specific power level and move-set to your massive collection of over 600 Pokémon (covering Gen 1 through Gen 5). The game features three main challenge modes: Battle Royale, where you fight to be the last toy standing; Team Battle, where you command three toys at once; and Charge Battle, which pits two large battalions of Pokémon against each other in a massive collision.
