Players return to Springdale and embark on a journey that spans past and present, uncovering the secret origins of the Yo-kai Watch and the ancient war between the Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls tribes. Along the way, you'll encounter over 350 Yo-kai, many of them new to this entry, each with unique personalities and abilities.
The combat system retains its real-time wheel-based format, where players rotate their active Yo-kai, activate Soultimate moves, and purify status effects via touchscreen mini-games. Strategic team-building and positioning remain key to victory.
Bony Spirits introduces new features like Yo-kai fusion, bike riding, and a bigger, more explorable world—including new towns, a train system, and plenty of side content. There are also multiplayer battles and trading, enhancing replayability and community interaction.
