- 5-Screw: A cartridge variant for NES games that uses 5 screws instead of the more common 3 screws. Some collectors prefer these, and they can be less common depending on the title.

Gameplay focuses on fast-paced bakery management, tasking players with taking orders, baking cakes, decorating them correctly, and serving customers before their patience runs out. As levels progress, new ingredients, tools, and special cake requests are introduced, increasing the complexity and requiring quick thinking and efficient multitasking. The Nintendo DS touchscreen plays a central role, allowing players to tap, drag, and manage orders with intuitive controls suited for handheld play.
