Drawing from classics like Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Darkstalkers, Metal Slug, and Resident Evil, this collectible card game delivers fast-paced, addictive gameplay filled with fan-service and tactical depth.
Players build decks using character, action, and counter cards—each with unique abilities and power levels—and face off in one-on-one duels that blend strategy, timing, and card synergy. The goal is to reduce your opponent’s Life Points to zero by playing and combining fighter cards, unleashing special combos, and using support cards to disrupt your enemy’s plans.
Card Fighters DS introduces over 300 cards featuring stylized artwork and updated characters from both game universes. The dual-screen layout allows you to manage your deck, view your hand, and watch the battlefield simultaneously. Touchscreen controls simplify navigation, card selection, and combat interactions, making for a smoother and more modern experience compared to earlier entries.
In Story Mode, you play as a rookie card battler exploring a tournament set inside a massive battle tower. Along the way, you’ll challenge rival players, collect rare cards, and uncover a plot that threatens both game worlds. The game also supports local wireless multiplayer for head-to-head card battles with friends.
