Part of the Touch! Generations brand, this title is technically classified as an "interactive cookbook" rather than a traditional video game, designed to transform the Nintendo DS into a versatile kitchen appliance. It features a database of over 245 recipes from more than 30 countries, guided by a digital instructor known as the DS Chef.
The software is technically built around hands-free accessibility for messy kitchen environments. Users navigate the step-by-step instructions using voice commands (such as "Next," "Repeat," or "Go Back"), allowing them to advance through recipes without touching the console with flour-covered hands. Beyond simple text, the guide provides instructional videos for complex techniques like kneading dough or filleting fish, and a "Cooking A-Z" glossary for culinary terms.
