The Analogue Nt Mini Noir [v2] is widely considered the "Rolls Royce" of retro consoles, designed to play original NES and Famicom games with zero-lag accuracy. Released in late 2020 as a final, limited-edition production run, the Noir version is technically superior to the original 2017 Nt Mini, featuring an upgraded Altera Cyclone V FPGA processor and a completely redesigned unibody 6061 aluminum enclosure in a deep gunmetal finish. Unlike standard clones that use software emulation, the Nt Mini Noir utilizes Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology to replicate the NES's original hardware logic at a transistor-level for 100% compatibility.

Technically, the console is a powerhouse of versatility, featuring dual cartridge slots for both 72-pin NES and 60-pin Famicom games. The V2 revision introduced a "perfected" cartridge slot with tighter tolerances to prevent graphical glitches from loose connections. Beyond basic playback, the system offers an exhaustive suite of video and audio customization, including Famicom Expansion Audio support, adjustable color palettes, and a "Sprite Limit" toggle to eliminate the flicker found on original hardware. It also includes a 3.5mm TRRS port on the front that supports simultaneous microphone input for Famicom games and high-fidelity audio output.

The Nt Mini Noir targets a pristine 1080p resolution at 60fps via HDMI, but its defining technical feature is the inclusion of a built-in Analog DAC. Through its gold-plated HD-15 (VGA) port, the console can output RGB, Component, S-Video, and Composite signals simultaneously with HDMI, making it the only modern console that is natively compatible with both high-end 4K displays and classic CRTs without external adapters.
